Air Fryer Miso Mushrooms on Sourdough Toast Featuring Little Red's Everyday Hot Sauce

Welcome to the first installment of Little Red's Air Fryer Cooking Series! We're delighted to introduce you to our new, weekly culinary journey that promises not just tantalising flavours but also, health-conscious cooking. 

This week, we're spicing up a timeless classic, mushrooms on toast, but with a deliciously Irish twist. Using our award-winning Everyday Hot Sauce and all-natural Irish ingredients, we've created an air fryer masterpiece: Miso Mushrooms on Sourdough Toast. 

Miso Mushrooms, Everyday Hot Sauce, Irish Hot Sauce, Air-Fryer Breakfast, Air-Fryer meals

- 1 Teaspoon Miso Paste
- 1 Teaspoon Rapeseed Oil (Irish-sourced, if possible)
- 1/2 Teaspoon Soy Sauce
- 80 g Fresh Irish Chestnut Mushrooms, sliced
- 1 Large Slice of Sourdough (from your favourite local bakery)
- 2 Teaspoons of Irish Butter
- Freshly Chopped Parsley for garnish
- 1 Tablespoon of Little Red's Award-Winning Everyday Hot Sauce for garnish

Cooking Method:

  1. Prepare the Air Fryer: Begin by preheating your air fryer to 200°C.
  1. Create the Miso Mixture: In a small bowl, blend together the miso paste, rapeseed oil, and soy sauce until smooth.
  1. Prepare the Mushrooms: Take your fresh Irish chestnut mushrooms and slice them before placing them into an air fryer-friendly dish.
  1. Combine and Toss: Pour the miso mixture over the mushrooms, ensuring they are well-coated by stirring thoroughly.
  1. First Fry: Place the dish into the air fryer and cook for an initial 4 minutes.
  1. Stir and Continue: After 4 minutes, give the mushrooms a quick stir and continue air frying for another 3 minutes.
  1. Prepare the Bread: While the mushrooms are frying, spread Irish butter generously over your slice of sourdough bread.
  1. The Final Fry: Add the buttered sourdough to the air fryer with the mushrooms, and cook both for an additional 4 minutes.
  1. Garnish and Serve: Remove your dish from the air fryer. Place the mushroom mixture on top of your toast and garnish liberally with Little Red's Everyday Hot Sauce and some freshly chopped parsley.
